Yes, our lenses come with a one-year warranty on manufacturing defects. Email a photo of the defect to info@visionlabservices.com to see if your defect falls under warranty. We need the photo for warranty inspection.

Lenses: Any coating or chipping defects, including discoloration of blue light or anti-reflective coating, is covered under warranty.

Frames: Peeling acetate or chipping on metal frames? We can fix that under warranty. This warranty applies only to frames purchased from frames sold on www.visionlabservices.com website. Frames purchased from Optics Frames, or sent to us, do not come with a warranty.

No-goes: Manufacturing defects do not include scratched lenses or normal wear and tear. Glasses that have been stepped on, sat on, dropped, run over by a car, chewed on by dogs, exposed to extreme temperatures, broken by toddlers, you get the idea, do not qualify.

Vision Lab Services does not bill insurance companies directly. If you have a vision plan, see if the plan covers out-of-network providers. We are happy to provide you with an itemized receipt that you can forward to your provider for reimbursement.

If your FSA or HSA card is associated with VISA or MasterCard we can process the payment. Just use your FSA or HSA card like a credit/debit card when making your payment.

It’s perfectly normal for new frames to need a little adjustment to tailor the fit to your face. Most optical shops can make those adjustments…maybe for free, if you ask nicely.

Yes, we can sell you the frame with the demo lenses, or we can make plano lenses (no magnification) if you just want to wear them as fashion glasses. We can also turn your frames into readers…just provide us your magnification strength preference.

We verify all prescriptions before starting a job. The lab checks the prescription after the lens is made, and we do a final inspection after we mount the lenses into your frame. If you think something is wrong, please check them with your eye doctor. If you are typing in your prescription, make sure to double-check to make sure you’ve entered all the numbers correctly.

PD, also known as the Pupillary Distance, is the distance between your pupils in millimeters, divided by two. We need this number to ensure the optical center of the lenses are aligned with your eyes. You can ask your optician to measure your PD. If your PD is not on your prescription, you can ask a friend to measure it using a millimeter ruler, or you can use a phone app. We like the free iPhone app PDCheck AR.

Yes, you can get your lenses in a solid tint, or you can get lenses that go dark when they come in contact with the sun.
